FEBRUARY MEETING NOTICE

Date: Friday, April 18, 2008
Time: 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
Where: Hilton Hotel & Inn, 5th. & Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kansas
Program: Mr. Gary Swanson, Veteran's History Project. He is an un-paid volunteer for the Library of Congress interviewing veterans (over 800) of World War II.

Cost: $15.00 ea. (pay at door)

Free Parking: Garage behind Hotel or lot across Minnesota Avenue

Reservation Deadline: Wednesday, April 16, 2008. Cancellations 24 hours before meeting.

There will be a meeting following the program concerning the NL Convention Committee. All members interested in working on the committee are invited to remain learn what help will be needed and what you can do to bring this convention to a successful conclusion.

Note: The NLUS National Convention will be held in October, 2008 in Kansas City, Missouri with the Greater Kansas City Council as the hosting Council. More details will follow as they are established.
